The Lord of the Rings Educational Resource has been developed for use by schools to give an insight into the show and the theatre in which it is staged: the process of getting the story from page to stage; and to look at some of the themes that run through the story and the characters who are involved in its telling.
As well as worksheets, background information and interviews the pack also features video interviews with the creative team and cast.
The resource is available for all school groups and is downloadable below.
Thursday Matinees - Question and Answer Sessions
These sessions will take place in the auditorium from 13:15 prior to the 14:00 Thursday matinee, and for thirty minutes from 17:00 until 17:30 after the performance.
There is no costs for these sessions - simply take your seats by 13:10 for the 14:00 Thursday matinee to participate in the Pre-Show Session. (There will be a short break between the Pre-Show Q&A and the start of the performance). Please remain in your seats after the performance to participate in the post performance Q&A Session.
