An organ scholar at Magdalene College, Cambridge, Christopher Nightingale was Musical Director for the Cambridge Footlights for three years before graduating in 1987 and going to work for the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Theatre credits: Chris provided additional arrangements for Andrew Lloyd Webber's Bombay Dreams, for which he was also London Musical Supervisor. He composed additional arrangements and was the Musical Supervisor for The Pet Shop Boys' Closer To Heaven (Arts Theatre); Musical Director for Whistle Down The Wind (Aldwych Theatre) and Oliver! (London Palladium); Assistant Musical Director for Miss Saigon (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane); Musical Director/Keyboards for The Plantagenets, The Tempest, The Comedy Of Errors, A Clockwork Orange, The Plain Dealer, Pericles, Much Ado About Nothing, Henry IV Part I, Singer, Some Americans Abroad, Playing With Trains, ‘Tis Pity She's A Whore, The Changeling, Romeo & Juliet, Tamburlaine (Royal Shakespeare Company).
Film credits: coaching, recording and conducting the cast on the set of Alan Parker's Evita.
