Michael HobbsTraining: After a degree in history, Michael studied drama at the Webber Douglas Academy and with the NYT.

Theatre includes: Guys and Dolls (Courtyard), The Merchant of Venice (ESC), The Way of the World (Pentameters), The Double Dealer (tour), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Chelmsford) and Treasure Island (Buckingham Palace for the 2006 Children's Party at the Palace). He wrote Nearly at the National, a comedy revue (Edinburgh Festival and London fringe).

Film includes: Neil Simon's London Suite and Carry on Columbus. As a film-maker, Michael has made documentaries for the BBC, C4 and C5 on subjects as diverse as aircraft safety and the rise of post-war medicine.

Television includes: Where the Heart Is, The Message, Lewis, My Hero, EastEnders, Birds of a Feather, Men Behaving Badly, No Sweat, Grange Hill, Crown Prosecutor, The Peter Principle, Words and Pictures (New York Film and Television Award), Lucy Sullivan is Getting Married and The New Adventures of Robin Hood.

Radio includes: the Doctor Who and Unit series.
In 2003, Michael graduated with an MBA from Henley Management College (Evening Standard scholarship). His research on charismatic leadership was published as a Henley Working Paper.
